 TITLE: Regrets BY: Romina Kaori Santiago González I woke up after the operation and looked in the mirror...I was scared and nervous...What had just happened? I didn't remeber andything, the only thing that came in my mind at that moment was...A car, I was looking out the window while I was traveling with my parents, it was raining, at night. I was listening the water hitting the car, so annoying, everything was bothering me, the silence, the noises, the breath of my parents, the lights of the car illuminating the road, the dark of the night, everything. I wanted to cry, but I couldn't, the tears just didn't come out, my heart was hurting, hurting so bad, at that moment I couldn't understand, "Why me? Why do I have to feel this way" those were the questions that I asked to myself. He had chosen her, he had just chosen her over me, over everything, over all the things I gave him, and I only realized it until he said it to my face, I asked to myself over and ove...

Life without calculators

 [1] If we didn't have calculators, how different life would be? Well the scientific calculator only exist for more than 40 years at most, it seems like it's too much time, but actually it isn't, and not every person had the money to buy it. If we go back in time, people used to use abacos, it is a tool that you use to do manual calculations, but even before people had this, obviously they used to do a lot of operations in paper, maybe like, as it was normal for them it didn't bother them, but I think it was more complicated and tedious.  [2] Well, if we didn't have calculators, It hink it would be more complicated, but like I said, if we get used about this, maybe we could sharpen our mind and do operations faster than we expected, and when we don't have a calculator near of us, it would be easy for us to make operations, at first like we were used to useing calculator, maybe it would be difficult to leave it, but I think our mind is powerful enough to deal wit...
